Our Horses’ Care and Well-Being
The health and happiness of our horses is our top priority. We’ve created a safe and natural environment for them, offering large, grassy paddocks where they roam freely as a herd of 11 horses and 1 pony. We believe that happy horses make for the best companions on your riding adventure.

Hi, I’m Nicole, the proud owner and operator of STONE HILL Horse Trek since 2016. Originally from Germany, I moved to New Zealand in 2013, drawn by the country’s breathtaking landscapes and love for outdoor adventure. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I couldn’t imagine a better way to share my passion than through the unique trekking experiences we offer here at Stone Hill.

LunaKaimanawa, rising 5 / Luna was mustered from the Kaimanawa Ranges in April 2024. She is such a sweetheart and is expecting her foal very soon.
In lovely memories of KelticThoroughbred, 23 yo / Keltic was retired 5 years ago and the last 2 years she was pretty much free roaming on our farm. With 23 years she picked up an illness she couldn't shrug off anymore, so we had to make the heart felt decision to let her go on the 26th of August 2024!
