Get to know us

Meet our Team at STONE HILL horse trek. We have a variety of lovely and safe horses to suit each and every individual Rider.

Our horse's overall health and well-being is the most important job to us. We provide the best possible environment, that is as safe and natural as possible for our horses. Our Stone Hill horses are joined together in a herd of 11 horses and 1 Pony and kept in spacious grassy paddocks.

Also meet Luke, our amusing dog who is joining us on most treks.

I’m Nicole, Owner-operator of Stone Hill horse trek since 2016. I was born in Germany and moved to New Zealand in 2013. I have been surrounded by horses my whole life and I could not imagine a better way to share my love of horses.

In lovely memories of FlagStandardbred, 22 yo (30/10/2000) / He was one of a kind and a very special boy to Anne and me. Unfortunately Flag was laid to rest on 11th of October 2023. He is deeply missed but finally he can run free without pain

In lovely memories of JonnyStandardbred, 11 yo / He was the Owner's special boy ;-) and one of the awesome Lead horses. Unfortunately Jonny passed away on 7th of April 2020. We dearyl miss him. May his soul rest in peace!
